What I’m working on, right now.

Updated May 21, 2026

Shipping the MVP of CAIA — the AI-native engineering platform that owns the architecture so a non-coder can own scope. Target: first paying customers by Q4 2027. Currently mid-flight on the Figma-to-deploy hero loop and the MCP marketplace v1.

Rebuilding Stolution in public — a neighborhood-commerce platform built on 22M+ business records. Multi-region search is now production-quality; the operator-facing UI is the work for Q3.

Day-job: Principal Enterprise Architect at Envestnet. The work is the kind of quiet platform engineering that compounds: read-only legacy adoption patterns, advisor-onboarding modernization, and a deeply unglamorous architecture-review board that turned out to matter more than the platforms it reviewed.

Covering QCon New York in October — tracking the program on the end of microservices — and KubeCon NA in November on observability as a product surface. I write the long-form notes; I am not on either stage. All coverage.

Reading: Working Backwards (Bryar & Carr), The Goal (Goldratt — yes, again), and a backlog of Anthropic safety papers.

Not doing: amplifying AI-safety takes I do not have ground truth for. The right people are already saying the right things; adding to the noise is not the contribution. (And to make it explicit — I do not deliver talks or keynotes anywhere. The site says “writes about” for a reason.)

Inspired by Derek Sivers’ /now movement.
